NEAT: Neighbors Empowered Against Tyranny – March 7, 2026
Gainesville is now and always has been a little different.
We take care of our home, we take care of our people and we care for each other.
The last few months have been difficult to watch as injustice and heavy handed authoritarian forces infiltrate the homes and the cities of our friends and our love ones.
In a response to the violence and upending of decency, due process and basic human rights, we have organized a one-day music festival to benefit those in our community who are most vulnerable or even just scared. So many of us are lucky to never have to fear walking to work, grocery shopping or even taking our children to school, but that just isn’t the reality for so many people.
We are partnering with local immigrant safety groups to provide the best and most complete direct impact that we can.
Come hang with us on Saturday March 7.
